Menakar Pro-Kontra Dampak Pendekatan Konsekuensi Perilaku  terhadap Motivasi Instrinsik pada Gen-Z

Abstract

Teori behavioris adalah pendekatan sistematis untuk mengelola perilaku yang berfokus pada konsekuensiperilaku itu sendiri. . Hal ini dikembangkan melalui oleh Pavlov, Watson, Thorndike, dan Skinner. Ada tiga konsekuensi utama teori behavioristic yaitu Reinforcemet, Punishmnet, dan Extinction. Reinfocement adalah tindakan mengarahkan stimulus pada hasil yang diinginkan, sedangkan punishment adalah tindakan menghilangkan stimulus yang tidak bermanfaat.  Sedangkan extinction adalah tindakan yang menyebabkan hilangnya stimulus dari suatu situasi. Dalam praktiknya, teori behavioristic ini banyak di implementasikan dalam pendidikan utamanya dalam modifikasi perilaku siswa.  Seperti dalam manajemen kelas.  Mudahnya implementasi dan hasil yang instan dari penerapan teori ini menjadikan pendekatan behavioristic sangat popular dilaksanakan. Namun terdapat banyak pro-kontra terkait pelaksanaannya dalam setting sekolah utamanya pada generasi Z (gen-Z) yang lebih terbuka mengekspresikan perasaannya, menuntut demokrasi pendidikan yang lebih tinggi serta memiliki banyak akses informasi terkait peneyelenggaraan pendidikan. Dalam hal inilah penelitian ini diposisikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan melakukan telaah terhadap artikel-artikel dan buku-buku terkait tentang teori behavioristic, pro dan kontra pelaksanaannya serta beberapa salah kaprah yang jamak ditemukan di lapangan.
